Free parking

Two hours of free parking are available to Annapolis shoppers at all two-hour metered parking spots through Wednesday, Jan. 1. Spaces on Main Street, Francis Street, West Street, Maryland Avenue, Prince George Street, City Dock and Market Space, as well as the Donner lot adjacent to the former Fawcett's on Compromise Street, are available. Motorists are not allowed to leave their cars in one spot all day.

Baysox ticket packages

The Bowie Baysox are offering two ticket packages for the holidays. Each includes a Chris Tillman bobblehead and eight undated tickets for the Baysox's 2014 season. The "Baysox Holiday Gift Pack" is $99.95 plus a $7.95 shipping and handling fee, and includes a baseball cap. "Home For The Holidays" package is $88 plus the same shipping and handling. Packages are available at baysoxshop.com until Friday, Jan. 3.

'Collected Stories'

The Dignity Players presents the Drama Desk Award-winning play by Donald Margulies Jan. 17-Feb. 1 at 333 Dubois Road in Annapolis. Shows at 8 p.m. Fridays-Saturdays with 3 p.m. matinees Jan. 19 and 26. For tickets and more information, call 410-266-8044 or go to dignityplayers.org.

Seniors program

The office of Anne Colt Leitess, State's Attorney for Anne Arundel County, is available to present, "Communities Against Senior Exploitation: How to Prevent You or Your Loved Ones from Becoming a Victim of Crime." The presentation aims to help seniors protect themselves against fraud, identity theft and scams. Presentations are free of charge as part of the office's community outreach program.
