Man shot overnight near E. Baltimore elementary school

A man was shot in the back and injured early Tuesday morning near an East Baltimore elementary and middle school, police said.

The man was shot in the 1100 block of N. Bradford Street at about 1:30 a.m. in the Biddle Street neighborhood, about a block from Dr. Rayner Browne Elementary Middle School. More information on his condition or the circumstances of the shooting was unavailable.

On Tuesday, police also identified a man fatally shot the day before in the 5200 block of Beaufort Avenue. He is James Holiday, 48.
