1 dead, another injured in separate shootings

One man killed, while bullet grazed head of man in another incident

A 34-year-old man shot in the head in Dunbar-Broadway died at an area hospital Sunday, police said in a news release.

Homicide detectives were investigating the killing, which happened around 7:20 p.m. in the 200 block of Beale Ct. Anyone with information may call the homicide department at 410-396-2100.

Just before 6 p.m., a 37-year-old man was found in Hollins Market, in the unit block of South Carrollton Ave., where a bullet had grazed his head. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive, police said. Anyone with information may call 410-369-2499.
