A man died in a head-on car crash on U.S. 40 in Howard County Saturday evening, police said.

The man, who was not identified by police, drove a Lincoln Town Car the wrong way on the westbound lanes of the roadway. He collided with a Toyota Camry driven by 46-year-old Nam Hee Choe of Sykesville, who Saturday night was in stable condition at Maryland Shock Trauma in Baltimore.

The crash happened near the intersection of Marriottsville Road and closed U.S. 40 for about two hours.
