Holiday tree sale

The Atholton Athletic Boosters annual holiday tree sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, at the school, 6520 Freetown Road. Douglas and Fraser firs will be available. Proceeds benefit the school's athletic teams. Information: 410-313-7065.

'Jazz for the Holidays'

The African Art Museum presents "Jazz for the Holidays," featuring Saisa and Company at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, at the Holiday Inn Hotel Columbia, 7900 Washington Blvd. in Jessup. The event also features a silent auction. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Information: 301-490-6070.

Singles social group

English conversation The Howard County Library, 10375 Little Patuxent Parkway, offers Let's Get Together: English Conversation Club, an opportunity to practice speaking and understanding English in a group setting, for those who speak English as a second language.
