Haynes Road, 15700 block, Nov. 29. Break-in report.

Laurel Bowie Road, 13300 block, Nov. 29. Theft.

Cherry Lane, 8700 block, Nov. 29. Theft.

Anne Arundel County

Laurel Fort Meade Road, 3400 block, 7:35 p.m. Dec. 8. Armed robbery reported by man who said two males held handgun to his head, took money from pockets. Victor T. Cooper, 23, of Bogalusa Drive in Laurel, arrested and charged with robbery, first-degree assault and theft. Police searching for second suspect.

Corridor Marketplace, 3300 block, 8:02 p.m. Dec. 8. Man shoplifting struggles with Weis security guard, takes guard's handgun and fires shots in store before fleeing with gun. No injuries.
