Tot Shabbat

The Columbia Jewish Congregation presents a Shabbat service for preschoolers and their families at 6:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, at the Oakland Mills Meeting House, 5885 Robert Oliver Place. The program includes book readings, story-telling, songs and prayer. For more information, call 410-730-4090.

Lunch with Santa

Visit Amherst House, 7251 Eden Brook Drive, at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, for a craft, pizza lunch and dessert. Each child will have a photo taken with Santa. Tickets are $5.50, $5 for Columbia residents. Information: 410-381-9600.

Singles social group

The Phoenix Cultural Singles Group, a Columbia social group for those 50 and older, meets from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Sundays at the Oakland Mills Interfaith Center, 5885 Robert Oliver Place in the Oakland Mills Village Center. Holiday tree sale

The Atholton Athletic Boosters will conduct their annual holiday tree sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays, Dec. 8 and 15, at the school, 6520 Freetown Road. Food addicts recovery

Age Well Exercise classes with Joyce DiTomaso will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Cost for an eight-week session is $35.

A belly dance class will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesdays. Learn hip movements, stretches, arm and hand techniques, and veil dancing. The first class is free, then a monthly fee is due.
