Ellicott City liquor store burglarized [Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports. The Howard County Times includes descriptions of perpetrators only when the description makes identification possible.

Baltimore National Pike, 8800 block, 6:28 p.m. Nov. 27. Man drove to Triangle Liquors in white box truck and blocked view of business. Man exited the truck carrying box. Large rock in box used to smash front door. Cash, cigarettes and other unknown items stolen. Man wearing mask, jacket, white work gloves, light colored pants and brown work boots.

Ellicott City

Frederick Road, 15800 block, 1:08 p.m. Dec. 1. Entry gained to store by man who walked behind counter. Man displayed revolver and ordered victim to give him money. Victim complied. Man fled eastbound and entered unknown vehicle.

Coventry Court, 3300 block, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Dec. 1. Residence broken into. Point of entry and exit was unlocked front door. Laptop and electronic gaming system stolen.

Joycin Court, 3600 block, 9:01 a.m. Nov. 28. Victim arrived home and found basement door kicked open. Television, stereo and other items stolen.

Union Mills Court, 8500 block, between 2 p.m. Nov. 25 and 9:15 p.m. Nov. 30. Entry gained to residence through kitchen window. Master bedroom ransacked. Television and jewelry stolen.


Marie Curie Drive, 6600 block, between 3 p.m. Nov. 27 and 7 a.m. Nov. 29. Storage unit containing copper wire broken into. Twenty-eight rolls of copper wire stolen.

Dorsey Road, 6900 block, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:53 p.m. Nov. 25. Victim returned to residence and found front door and garage door ajar. Entry gained to home. Bowl of change, jewelry box and gun safe containing two pistols stolen.

Savage/North Laurel

Moonshine Hollow, 9000 block, between 2:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Dec. 1. Entry gained to residence by forcing open storm window. Television, laptop, jewelry, two cameras and DVDs stolen.

Glen Ridge Drive, 9400 block, between 1 p.m. Nov. 21 and 11:30 p.m. Nov. 27. Rear basement door kicked in. Jewelry, medications and revolver stolen.
