Police say barricade in Arnold ends without incident

December 04, 2013|By Pamela Wood, The Baltimore Sun

Anne Arundel County police say a person who had been barricaded inside an Arnold house Wednesday afternoon voluntarily exited without incident.

The area around the 100 block of Landon Lane in Arnold was blocked off during negotiations, said Lt. T.J. Smith, a police spokesman. Smith said the person was believed to have been armed and alone in the house.

Police said that through negotiations, the subject came out of the house at about 5 p.m. No one was harmed, and police said criminal charges will not be filed.
