Armed robbery on Route 40 parking lot in Catonsville [Crime Log]

Baltimore National Pike, 6200 block, 1:30 p.m. Nov. 30. A man approached two people in a parking lot and attempted to sell them cell phones. He implied he was carrying a pistol and demanded money. After they complied, he fled in a tan SUV.

Montrose Avenue, unit block, 4 p.m. Nov. 29. Two men armed with gun stole cash from man.

Wilkens Avenue, 4100 block, between 3:45 and 4:01 p.m. Nov. 29. Two men seen taking air conditioning system from vacant Wilkens Money Center.

Westchester Avenue, 2800 block, 3 p.m. Nov. 29. Two vehicles parked behind Victory Retreat Center set on fire. Cause undetermined. No one hurt. Building not damaged.

Baltimore National Pike, 5800 block, between 12:45 a.m. and 1:17 a.m. Nov. 29. Three men, two with handguns, forced their way into room at Comfort Inn. One person sexually assaulted. Laptop stolen.

Bloomsbury Avenue, 400 block, between noon Nov. 17 and 12:20 p.m. Nov. 29. Candy and clothing stolen from concession stand at Comet Park on Catonsville High School campus.

Baltimore National Pike, 6200 block, 9 p.m. Nov. 27. Two men, one armed with a handgun, attempted to rob man in Giant supermarket parking lot. Man able to get away unharmed. Nothing taken.

Frederick Road, 2700 block, between 7 and 8 p.m. Nov. 25. Two Baltimore County police officers injured slightly during altercation with Catonsville man who had resisted arrest following a hit-and-run accident. 

West Elgin Drive, 200 block, between noon Nov. 21 and 12:30 p.m. Nov. 24. Computer and jewelry stolen. Entry through unlocked basement window.
