Traffic: Traffic shut down on I-97 closed at MD 100 exit

Traffic is shut down on Interstate 97 at the MD 100 exit due to a two-vehicle collision with injury at 8:18 a.m. Friday, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation reported at 7:01 a.m. Friday that eastbound North Avenue remains closed at Chester Street due to a water main break. All eastbound traffic is being detoured southbound to Chester Street, Baltimore DOT said.

The city Department of Public Works first reported the main break on Thursday morning.

The Maryland Transit Administration reported at 8:54 a.m. that trains and buses are running on schedule.
