November 19, 2013|Staff Reports, The Baltimore Sun

At 9:30 a.m. the Maryland Department of Transportation is reporting that the accident involving three vehicles on I-895 south at the Harbor Tunnel has been cleared, but officials are warning commuters to use caution, and expect delays until the backup clears out.

MDOT also reported that an accident has been cleared on Route 157 west of I-695 in the Dundalk area of Baltimore County. Both west and eastbound lanes were affected by that incident earlier.

Earlier this morning in Anne Arundel County, a school bus in Annapolis was involved in a collision on West Street near Admiral Drive, according to Anne Arundel County School officials. Anne Arundel school spokesman Bob Mosier said the bus was en route to school at about 6 a.m. but had yet to pick up students. A bus driver and attendant were aboard when another vehicle crossed the center line and struck the bus, Mosier said.

Neither the driver nor attendant was injured, but the driver of the other vehicle was taken to a local hospital, Mosier said.
