November 15, 2013|By Amanda Yeager, ayeager@tribune.com

A project to adjust the shoulder on part of Guilford Road in Clarksville will begin on or about Monday, Nov. 18, according to Howard County officials.

Crews will widen a portion of the road between Great Star Drive and Sanner Road to create more room for cyclists outside of vehicle travel lanes.

The project is expected to be finished by late November, weather permitting.

Motorists can expect temporary lane shifts and closures throughout the project, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
