Pembrook Woods, 8900 block, 8:42 p.m. Nov. 8. Victim met acquaintance to collect financial debt. After exiting victim's vehicle, acquaintance pulled handgun, demanded victim's cash and cellphone. Victim complied. Acquaintance exited vehicle and walked away. Victim returned home and called police. Investigation continuing.

Decatur Road, 9300 block, 2:21 p.m. Nov. 7. Three masked individuals broke into basement by smashing sliding glass door. One victim assaulted by perpetrator. Three other victims held at gunpoint. Money and personal property stolen from one victim. Perpetrators fled through basement. Injured victim taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police believe house was targeted. Investigation continuing.
