A major connector ramp taking downtown traffic to northbound Interstate 95 in Baltimore will be closed Saturday for routine inspections, the Maryland Transportation Authority said Wednesday.

The ramp from southbound Interstate 395, which both South Howard and West Conway streets feed into near Camden Yards, will be closed from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., officials said.

Inspections of the ramp occur annually and are routine, officials said.

Northbound I-95 traffic will be detoured onto southbound I-95 and then Caton Avenue before being turned back onto northbound I-95, officials said.

The work is weather permitting.
