Kai Locksley and Antonio Dupree scored two rushing touchdowns each for Gilman (7-2, 5-0) in a Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference game Saturday at Utz Field in Patterson Park.

The game was tied at 14 early in the third quarter before Locksley, Dupree and Bijan Rhett scored consecutive rushing touchdowns for a 35-14 Greyhounds lead with about nine minutes left in the game.

Gilman’s win sets up a No. 1 vs. No. 2 showdown with McDonogh (10-0, 5-0) for the A Conference title in next Saturday's regular-season finale at McDonogh.

There are no A Conference playoffs this fall, so the regular-season winner will be the champion. The Greyhounds are the two-time defending champs. McDonogh won its last title in a three-way tie with Gilman and Loyola in 2006.

Saturday’s game is also the 98th meeting between the two teams in the area’s second-longest rivalry series behind City-Poly, which is in its 125th year.

St. Frances (5-6) finished its first season in the A Conference at 3-3. The Panthers are scheduled to play one more game, a Thanksgiving Day meeting with Eastern Christian.
