Sarbanes trivializes Obamacare web woes

November 01, 2013

At the recent House hearings in which Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sibelius was questioned regarding the mishandled introduction of Obamacare, Rep. John Sarbanes compared the purchase of insurance on the government website to buying tickets for an Orioles game ("The canceled policies flap," Oct. 30.

This trivializes the enormous impact this boondoggle will have on millions of citizens in this country (not to mention their wallets). Mr. Sarbanes' comments were purely political and an insult to the citizens he is supposed to represent. Secretary Sibelius should be fired and Mr. Sarbanes should be ashamed.
