A 24-year-old man was stabbed in the back early Saturday morning during an attack by an unknown number of people, Anne Arundel County police said.

Officers found the man suffering stab wounds to his back shortly before 4:30 a.m. in the 300 block of Old Riverside Drive in Brooklyn Park, according to police. The man had been in near Hilltop Drive and an alleyway when some assailants — one of whom had red hair — struck, police said.
