Traffic: All travel lanes reopened on I-95 North in Elkridge

The State Highway Administration said on Tuesday that all traffic lanes are have been reopened on Interstate 95 North at MD 100 after the clearing of a two-vehicle accident involving an overturned truck that had blocked traffic in both directions.

The collision occurred around 6:44 a.m. At 9 a.m. SHA said that activity remains on the right shoulder and delays stretch as far south as MD 216.

The collision was among several traffic incidents during Tuesday morning's commute.

A two-vehicle collision in Baltimore County on US 40 West at 66th Street has closed two westbound shoulders at 8:58 a.m. according to the state Department of Transportation.

DOT also reported an accident on MD 27 in Mount Airy at Cabbage Spring Road at 8:50 a.m. but offered no additional information.

Traffic remains stalled in Baltimore City due to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of York Road and East Northern Parkway due to an early morning accident involving a driver who fled Baltimore Police.

The Maryland Transit Administration reported minor MARC train delays at 9 a.m.
