Indecent exposure reported at Rockburn Park [Howard County Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports. The Howard County Times includes descriptions of perpetrators only when the description makes identification possible.

Rockburn Park, 7:12 p.m. Aug. 22. Officers dispatched to Rockburn Park for indecent exposure. Victim said he was riding bicycle on trail when he saw man with hands down pants making lewd gestures. Victim said man's zipper was down and second man was watching him.

Ellicott City

Sybert Drive, 9100 block, between 3:45 p.m. and 11:51 p.m. Aug. 23. Entry gained to unsecured garage. Motorcycle stolen.


Old Waterloo Road, 6400 block, 9:39 p.m. Aug. 26. Man entered CVS, handed note to worker at the pharmacy counter requesting narcotics and displayed handgun. Victim ran behind shelves and alerted pharmacist who was on phone. Pharmacist yelled at suspect, who left store, leaving bag and note behind.

Savage/North Laurel

Washington Boulevard, 9800 block, 2:04 p.m. Aug. 23. Suspect observed urinating in parking lot.


Flamewood Drive, between 9:15 a.m. and 7:20 p.m. Aug. 23. Entry gained to residence by prying open rear door. Several rooms ransacked. Coins and jewelry stolen.

Trotter Road, 5700 block, between Aug. 20 and Aug. 26. House being renovated was entered with no apparent force. Amplifier and tuner taken from basement. Washing machine and scrap copper wire stolen from front porch. Tractor battery taken from detached garage.
