Maryland injuries: receiver Deon Long still out and is joined by Amba Etta

August 19, 2013|By Jeff Barker | The Baltimore Sun

The Maryland football injury report, released by the school today,  has some holdovers and some additions.

Starting receiver Deon Long (back) remains on the list. He's joined by receiver Amba Etta (shoulder). Both are out for this week. The receiver position, one of the team's deepest, is thinned for now.

Defensive lineman Zeke Riser (ankle) and running back Jacquille Veii (ankle) were both spotted in walking boots at Saturday's scrimmage. They're also out this week.

Maryland has not endured any season-ending injuries during training camp of players counted on as starters -- and Terps fans surely hope it stays that way.
