One lucky Powerball player in Maryland is among those raking in the cash after Wednesday night's $448 million jackpot drawing, according to Maryland Lottery officials.
His or her second-tier take is a cool $1 million, officials said.
The ticket was purchased at the Dunkirk Fastop, located at 9880 Southern Maryland Boulevard, in Dunkirk, Calvert County, lottery officials said.
The ticket owner is among 4,051,006 players who won prizes totaling $66.9 million in the drawing.
There were also three first-tier winners in the Powerball drawing, who matched all the drawn numbers: 05, 25, 30, 58, 59 and Powerball 32. One ticket was purchased in Minnesota, two in New Jersey.
