HCN's Chesapeake Sports Desk Program wins Gold Aurora Award

Harford Cable Network's Chesapeake Sports Desk program recently won a Gold Aurora Award for its "Punkin Chunkin at Eden Mill" segment that aired in December 2011 and January 2012.

The Aurora Awards is an independent and international film and video competition for commercials, cable programming, documentaries, industrial, instructional and corporate videos. The "Punkin Chunkin at Eden Mill" segment won a Gold Award, Low Budget category, in the Aurora Awards Spring 2013 Competition. View the segment online at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TSLOmdJ110g.

Chesapeake Sports Desk is a monthly program, hosted by Lori Snyder and Wayne Hepler, which highlights the best in Harford County athletics, including high school and community college games. Snyder has produced and hosted the show since 2006.
