Traffic: Harford incidents cleared

August 01, 2013|Staff Reports, The Baltimore Sun

As of 10:30 a.m., light rain and low visibility continued to cause slow traffic and other issues. Use of headlights and wipers is strongly recommended.

A driver on the Baltimore Washington Parkway reported that traffic was at a standstill there just prior to the connection with I-95, but there was no immediate report from the Maryland Department of Transportation of an accident.

In Harford County, accidents on northbound I-95 prior to Mountain Road and just past Creswell Road were both reported to be cleared.

In Baltimore County, there was an incident reported southbound on I-95 near White Marsh, and there was slow traffic reported in that area in both the north and south directions.

Also in Baltimore County, a water main break at York Road and Harding Street in Timonium was being address by emergency crews, but there was no immediate information on lane closures.

The Maryland Transit Administration is reporting that light rail and MARC trains are operating on time.
