Marathoner Bevans inducted into Hall of Fame

Perry Hall High cross county and girls outdoor track coach Marilyn Bevans has been inducted into the National Black Marathoners Association's Hall of Fame.

Bevans placed second in the 1977 Boston Marathon. She also won the Maryland Marathon in 1977 and 1979 and ranked as one of the world's top ten fastest marathoners in 1977.
