Noah's Ark Academic Tutoring celebrates 16th anniversary

Noah's Ark Academic Tutoring, Inc. in Jarrettsville celebrated its 16th business anniversary on June 1.

The tutoring establishment was founded by and continues to be operated by Michelle L. Hoppe of Norrisville.

Academic tutoring services are available for children and adults in preschool through collegiate study, master's degrees, in all academic subjects. Hoppe specializes in teaching students with learning disabilities, dyslexia and attention deficit disorders.

She attended the College of Notre Dame of Maryland for 14.5 consecutive years, earning a bachelor of arts, master of arts, master's plus 30 and completing the Doctorate of Philosophy coursework.

Hoppe's academic achievements are an outstanding accomplishment, considering that in her first year of college she was diagnosed with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, multiple learning differences and an attention deficit disorder. Her professional background and personal academic struggles enable her to assist her students to positively compensate in their specific educational environment.
