Former Sea Gull Krum, ex-Bayhawk Christmas finish with hat trick in win in Illinois

Erik Krum (Salisbury) and former Chesapeake Bayhawk Johnny Christmas each scored a hat trick as Maverik United earned its first win on the LXM Pro men's lacrosse tour, 17-11 over Team STX on Saturday afternoon in Naperville, Ill.

Sam Bradman led Team STX with four points on three goals and an assist on five shots, and Kyle Harrison (Friends, Johns Hopkins) added two goals. Xander Ritz (Maryland) finished with two goals for STX, while brother and fellow ex-Terp Max Ritz had a goal and two assists.

Twins Shamel and Rhamel Bratton, who starred at Virginia, scored two goals apiece for Maverik, which outscored STX, 7-3, in the second quarter to take a 10-5 halftime lead.

The teams will next face each other Sept. 28 when the Adrenaline Tournament Series stops at the Lakeside Sports Fields in Orem, Utah. For more information, go to
