African Methodist churches celebrate 200 years

  • On June 30, at the Bayou Restaurant in Havre de Grace, the Delaware, Cecil and Harford County African Methodist Protestant churches celebrated 200 years of service. The Rev. Jonathan D. Stewart, conference presiding elder District One, and the most Rev. Dr. Delbert L. Jackson, above, presiding prelate-bishop, officiated over the banquet. More than 100 members attended the fellowship dinner.
