A mostly cloudy morning with scattered showers is expected in the Baltimore region on Tuesday, with temperatures nearing 90 degrees and thunderstorms likely in the evening, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures will drop into the 70s overnight, with more clouds, patchy fog and possible showers moving in on Wednesday morning as temperatures climb back into the upper 80s, the weather service said.

More thunderstorms are possible Wednesday afternoon and on Thursday. Friday and Saturday are expected to be partially sunny with high temperatures in the mid-80s, with heavier cloud coverage during the overnight hours, the weather service said.

More thunderstorms are possible on Sunday into Monday.
