Man shot in Southwest Baltimore

A man was shot in the chest in the Boyd-Booth neighborhood in Southwest Baltimore on Wednesday night, police said.

The man was shot in the 2100 block of Boyd St., near the first block of South Pulaski Street, at about 9:20 p.m., police said. The incident was not expected to be life-threatening. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

A suspect and motive had not been identified as of Thursday morning, police said.
