Man shot in Annapolis

Victim transported to Maryland Shock Trauma Center

A man was shot in Annapolis early Thursday afternoon, according to Annapolis Police.

Officers responded to the 1400 block of Tyler Ave. about 12:06 p.m. for a report of a shooting and found the victim, said Cpl. Amy Miguez, a police spokeswoman. The location is near the Robin Wood Recreation Center.

The man was transported to Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment, Miguez said.

The incident is under investigation. No suspect was immediately in custody.

No other information was immediately available.
