Reception The Banneker-Douglass Museum hosts a reception for the photography exhibit, "Growing Up Afro: Snapshots of Black Childhood from the Afro-American Newspaper," from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at 84 Franklin St. in Annapolis. Rotary crab feast The Rotary Club of Annapolis will hold its 68th annual crab feast from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 2 at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis. Tickets are $60, $20 for children ages 3 to 12 and free for children younger than 3. Buy tickets at or call 877-333-9667 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Festival The Kegs and Corks Beer and Wine Festival will be held Aug. 24 at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds, 1450 Generals Highway in Crownsville. In addition to local wines and craft beers, this year's event will feature "Beer From Around the World," an outdoor build-a-bar with lime-a-ritas and straw-ber-ritas, and a sangria booth. Tickets include a souvenir cup, limited samples of featured beer and wine, and entertainment all day. Food will be available for purchase. Musical entertainment include performances by Dublin5, the Truth Project, Appaloosa and others. Proceeds benefit the Wellness House, an organization providing support for those living with cancer. Beach bash The Annapolis Maritime Museum will host its ninth annual Boatyard Beach Bash from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Annapolis Maritime Museum, 723 Second St. Among the musical guests is the John Frinzi Band, along with Coral Reefer steel guitar great Doyle Grisham and Jim Morris.
