Former Calvert Hall forward Jon Graham will transfer from Penn State, the school's athletic department announced Tuesday.

"Jon and I have had several meetings to discuss his future and he has decided to seek opportunities to continue his playing career elsewhere," Penn State coach Patrick Chambers said in a news release. "Jon is a terrific young man. We thank him for his hard work and wish him the best moving forward."

Graham appeared in 31 games as a redshirt sophomore last season, averaging 1.9 points and 2.7 rebounds. The 6-foot-8 forward played in 58 career games with the Nittany Lions, starting 25.

Graham, a two-time Baltimore Sun first-team All-Metro selection, averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Baltimore Catholic League-champion Cardinals in 2010.
