Edgewood man, 28, shot several times; police seek shooter

A 28-year-old Edgewood man was shot several times Wednesday night, but police said his injuries were not life-threatening.

Around 11 p.m., Harford County sheriff's deputies received several calls about shots being fired in the 1800 block of Grempler Way in Edgewood; two victims were reported, according to Edward Hopkins, spokesman for the sheriff's office.

When deputies arrived, they found one man, D'Andre A. Feaster, whose last known address was in the 1800 block of Brookside Drive, had been shot; no other victim has been found, Hopkins said.

Deputies said the shooter came out from between townhomes in the neighborhood and began shooting, "we believe at him," Hopkins said.

About an hour before the shooting, a patrol deputy said he drove through the neighborhood and reported "a lot of people" had been milling about the area outside.

Feaster was taken by Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company ambulance to Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital in Baltimore with non-life-threatening injuries, Hopkins said.

The only description deputies have of the shooter is that he was a black male who covered his face with a white T-shirt.

No additional information was forthcoming as of Thursday afternoon.
