Man shot twice in buttocks in Annapolis

Injuries considered non-life-threatening

A 34-year-old man was shot twice in the buttocks after exiting an Annapolis apartment building in the early hours of Sunday, according to Annapolis Police.

Officers were called to the 1100 block of Madison Street about 1 a.m. and were told by the man that he was shot after two men approached him as he walked out of the apartment building, police said.

One opened fire before both fled the area, the man told police.

The man, who was not identified, was transported to Maryland Shock Trauma Center with injuries considered to be non-life-threatening, police said.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
