MILLERSVILLE UNIVERSITY: The following area residents were among the 1,110 students who graduated from Millersville University of Pennsylvania during the spring 2013 undergraduate commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 18 in Millersville's Biemesderfer Stadium at Chryst Field: Allison Casola, of Bel Air, graduated with a bachelor of science in biology; Sarah Wehland, of Bel Air, graduated with a BSE degree in early childhood education; Rachel Ryan, of Abingdon, graduated with a bachelor of science in meteorology.

SUSQUEHANNA UNIVERSITY: Five area students received diplomas at Susquehanna University's commencement exercises on May 12: Amy Grem of Bel Air, graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts in history and communications with a public relations emphasis; the daughter of Steve and Suzy Grem and a graduate of the John Carroll School; Griffin Kearney of Bel Air, graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts in psychology; the son of John and Moira Kearney and a graduate of C. Milton Wright High School; Andrea Plumer of Edgewood, graduated with a bachelor of arts in psychology with a minor in film, the daughter of Michael and Teresa Plumer and a graduate of the John Carroll School; Plumer's activities at Susquehanna included SU Belly Dance Circle, Active Minds and the Anime and Manga Association and following graduation, Plumer plans to pursue a master's degree in applied behavior analysis and a doctorate in clinical psychology; Logan Skillman of Jarrettsville, graduated with a bachelor of science in business administration with an emphasis in marketing, the son of Robert and Deborah Skillman and a graduate of North Harford High School; Kathleen Sutton, of Pylesville, graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science in business administration with emphases in global management and finance; Sutton received university honor and is the daughter of David and Colleen Sutton and a graduate of North Harford High School.

BUCKNELL UNIVERSITY: Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2012-13 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition. Local students named to the dean's list include: Jillian K. DiPasquale, Joppa, daughter of Marc and Donna DiPasquale and a 2009 graduate of Roland Park Country School, Baltimore; Samantha L. Rickels, Forest Hill, daughter of Donald and Cathy Rickels and a 2012 graduate of Towson High, Towson; Matthew J. Zoltoski, Bel Air, son of Michael and Mary Lisa Zoltoski and a 2012 graduate of John Carroll School.

LEBANON VALLEY COLLEGE: The following students were named to the spring 2013 dean's list at Lebanon Valley College. Dean's list students must maintain a 3.4 average out of a possible 4.0: Cameron P. Venable of Abingdon, pursuing a bachelor of science in biology who graduated from Edgewood High School; Andrew M. Dennison of Fallston, pursuing a bachelor of science in digital communications who graduated from John Carroll School; Kristen E. Rooney of Havre de Grace, pursuing a bachelor of science in early childhood education and special education who graduated from Havre de Grace High School; Suzanne P. Sullivan of White Hall, pursuing a bachelor of science in early childhood education and special education, who graduated from North Harford High School; Kristin C. Tracy of Bel Air, pursuing a bachelor of arts in economics who graduated from C Milton Wright High School; Steven M. Shinsky of Jarrettsville, pursuing a bachelor of science in health science who graduated from North Harford High School; Joshua R. Barben of Jarrettsville, pursuing a bachelor of arts in history who graduated from North Harford High School; Anna M. Pollitt of Abingdon, pursuing a bachelor of arts and bachelor of science in music and music education, who graduated from Havre de Grace High School; Victoria Childers of Aberdeen, pursuing a bachelor of science in music education who graduated from Aberdeen High School; Andrew S. Ebey of Jarrettsville, pursuing a bachelor of science and bachelor of arts in music education and music who graduated from North Harford High School; and Kaylin M. Honchar of Churchville, pursuing a bachelor of science in psychology who graduated from John Carroll School.

CLEMSON UNIVERSITY: Local residents graduated from Clemson University May 10, including Sarah Elizabeth Willey of Abingdon, who graduated with a master of arts in teaching in middle-level education; and Brian Patrick Murphy of Bel Air, who graduated with a bachelor of science in chemical engineering.
