Two vacant homes were burning in East Baltimore late Thursday morning, with the flames extending into a third, according to the Baltimore Fire Department.

Firefighters were on the scene of the working fire in the 2400 block of E. Biddle St. on the edge of the city's Broadway East neighborhood about 11:30 a.m., fighting the flames from the exterior of the building, said Captain Roman Clark, a department spokesman.

The homes are northeast of Johns Hopkins Hospital.

No injuries were reported, Clark said.

No further information was immediately available.
