Food stolen from delivery person in Ellicott City [Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports. 

Ellicott City

Town and Country Boulevard, 8700 block, 11 p.m. April 9. While making delivery, pizza delivery person was approached by two men. One blocked pathway driver was walking on that led to building. Men stole portion of food order and walked away.


Washington Boulevard, 6300 block, 4:21 a.m. April 14. Rock used to smash front glass door of Nail Salon. Cash from desk drawer and nail polish bottles, which were mounted on the wall, were stolen.

Hanover Road, 6500 block, between 4:30 p.m. April 12 and 6:37 a.m. April 15. Entry gained into business parking lot by cutting hole in fence. Once inside, ignition on dump truck that was blocking gate was popped and vehicle moved. Two work trucks along with two attached trailers stolen.

Savage/North Laurel

All Saints Road, 9200 block, 9:21 p.m. April 11. Woman was walking to her vehicle when she was approached by man with knife on bicycle who demanded money. Woman ran to vehicle, drove off and called police. Justin Duran Laughlin, 22, of Laurel, was arrested.

Washington Boulevard, 9400 block, between 7 p.m. April 5 and 7 p.m. April 8. Entry gained to storage trailers at Foreman Equipment. Tractor tires and rims stolen from an unsecured trailer. Locking mechanism was broken off to gain entry into second trailer, but unknown if anything was taken.
