Football/cheerleading

The registration for the Ellicott City Patriots Youth Football, Cheer and Poms Program is now open! Please go to ecpatriots.com for more information. We are still in need of volunteer coaches for the upcoming 2013 season. The Patriots are looking for strong leaders for mentoring ages 5 through 14.

The Football Program needs assistant coaches and team administrators and the Cheer and Poms programs need a head coach for our 8-10 age group, along with assistant coaches, dance coaches, tumbling and stunting, and competition routine coaches. For information on the Ellicott City Patriots and coaching positions, email gnicastro1@verizon.net (football) or thekolpfamily@verizon.net (cheer and poms) or visit http://www.ecpatriots.com.

Registration is now open for the Columbia Ravens. The Ravens will hold a walk-up registration at Dick's Sporting Goods (Columbia Crossing) on April 28 from 1-4 p.m. For more details and a link to online registration, visit columbiaravens.com.

Lacrosse

The M&D 2016 Girls Club Lacrosse team is hosting a series of youth lacrosse clinics at The Trinity School (4985 Ilchester Road, Ellicott City). The clinics will be held April 21, April 28 and May 5. Age 5-7 clinics will be held from 2:30-4 each day, followed by an age 8-10 clinic from 4:30-6 each day. Attend all three dates for only $75 ($25 per clinic).

All skill levels welcome. Have fun while learning all aspects of the game. Participants are required to bring goggles, mouth guard, lacrosse stick, water bottle and athletic footwear. Parents are encouraged to attend with their daughters and a "parent clinic" will be held at 4 p.m. on each date (teaching the basics of girls lacrosse), while the M&D 2016 Girls will conduct an intra-squad scrimmage. Contact mndlax2016@gmail.com or 419-205-3394 with questions.
