Starting Monday, Baltimoreans who turn on their television sets may see a familiar face. Actor Vincent De Paul, who grew up on Conking Street, is featured in the film “The Silver Case,” which will be available On Demand for the next two months.
According to the synopsis, the film concerns a locked silver briefcase which is meant as a mysterious, malevolent “gift” from a Hollywood producer (Oscar nominee Eric Roberts) to his nemesis. But, the briefcase is stolen before it arrives at its intended destination.
De Paul plays Hollywood star Doug Damian, a role for which he won a best actor award in the fall of 2012 from the Los Angeles Film, TV & Webisode Festival.
Last month, the Los Angeles Times described “Silver Case” as “a brisk, good-looking and never dull B movie.”
