Concerts at the center:

•Frank Curreri will perform a tribute to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tony Bennett and other popular singers at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 17.

•Last Chance Entertainment performs Motown, jazz, R&B and oldies but goodies at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 23.

Wellness day A Leg Wellness Day will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 16. Sponsored by Maryland Vein Professionals, the event will include a lecture describing vein diseases, free leg screenings and a question-and-answer session.

Workshop A Maryland Legal Aid Workshop will be held beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 17. The workshop will cover the legal resources available for seniors and how to deal with debt and creditors. Registration is required.

'Ask the Undertaker' Ryan Helfenbein, who writes a column for Outlook by the Bay magazine, will give a talk at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 25. Topics include the emotional and financial advantages of planning in advance for funeral and cremation services. He will also talk about the available options and how to make sure that plans are safe and secure for the future.

American Political Perspectives with instructor Joanne Tetlow meets from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursdays. Registration and fees required.

Scrabble Challenge your brain by playing Scrabble, 12:45 p.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays. New participants are welcome.

Weight-loss program Dietitian Sheryl Hoehner will offer a seven-session class on weight loss from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursdays. Topics will include pointers on losing weight, decreasing sodium and increasing fiber in your diet. Fee is $25.

High Fashion Jewelry Sale The sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, and is open to the public. Proceeds benefit the Woodland Beach Volunteer Fire Department and the Wounded Warrior Project.

Beginning tap dance: An introduction to the basics of tap will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesdays. No experience is needed; the instructor is Vicki Smith. Fee is $40.

Jazz dance: Vicki Smith leads a class from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Fridays. All levels of experience are welcome. Fee is $40.

Creative Crafts: Evelyn Bacon will lead classes from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Mondays. Fee is $40.

Aquacise: An exercise program conducted in warm water to improve flexibility, mobility and range of motion and boost stamina will take place from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at the Arundel Olympic Swim Center, 2690 Riva Road in Annapolis. Cost is $40.

Single seniors group The Single Seniors Group encourages companionship, support and group participation in activities such as movies, dances, picnics and tours. Information: 410-222-6680 or http://www.aacounty.org/aging (click on the senior center).

Support groups

The Department of Aging and Disabilities has updated a booklet on community support groups. The booklet focuses on groups for caregivers, Alzheimer's disease, bereavement for adults and children, diabetes, brain injury, cancer, stroke, cardiac and pulmonary problems, Parkinson's and bowel and urinary diversions.
