Sunny skies, colder breezes, highs around 50 Tuesday

April 02, 2013|By Scott Dance, The Baltimore Sun

Abundant sunshine is forecast for the Baltimore area Tuesday, but a cold front that moved through will cause Monday's springlike temperatures to plummet, with highs around 50 degrees.

Temperatures were expected to drop to the upper 30s and lower 40s around the region by early Tuesday morning. Despite the sunny skies, temperatures could struggle to break out of the 40s.

Blustery winds are expected, with 15-25 mph breezes.

The clear skies, cool temperatures and gusty winds are expected to last into Wednesday, as well. Highs are forecast in the lower 50s, with highs in the upper 40s and 15-25 mph winds.

Clouds are forecast to start moving in Thursday as rain arrives overnight and into Friday. Highs are expected to remain in the low- to mid-50s.
