Hospital honors staff member and surgeon for efforts in March

Aileen Riley was selected as Carroll Hospital Center's Associate of the Month for March.

A staff member at the hospital for six years, Riley was nominated for her high attention to detail to her work in the food services department.

"Aileen is a spectacular team player and true asset to our department." said Marcea Cotter, director of support services in a release. "She always goes above and beyond what is expected to ensure our team succeeds."

Each month, Carroll Hospital Center recognizes a member of its staff through its Associate WOW Service Awards.

Monthly award winners are eligible to be named the hospital's Associate of the Year.

Dr. Marilyn Miller, plastic surgery, was named Carroll Hospital Center's March Physician of the Month, the second time she has received the award.

A physician affiliated with Carroll Hospital Center for 33 years, Dr. Miller was nominated for her exceptional care and expert surgical skills while treating a patient.

"Dr. Miller is an outstanding plastic surgeon who instills confidence in all her patients with her excellent surgical care and genuine interest in their well-being," said Leslie Simmons, executive vice president and chief operating officer in a release.

Each month, the hospital center recognizes the extraordinary physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and certified nurse anesthetists, through its Physician WOW Service Awards.

Those winners become eligible to be named Physician of the Year.
