Partly sunny; more sun expected Saturday

Temperatures will likely reach the mid-50s under partly sunny skies across the Baltimore region on Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

Spring still may not have fully sprung, though.

More clouds are expected to roll into the region Friday night, with overnight lows dropping to the mid- to low-30s, the weather service said.

On Saturday, sunny skies are forecast with highs again in the mid-50s. Skies will likely remain mostly clear through the evening.

Rain showers are expected on Sunday and Sunday night, with highs again in the mid-50s, the weather service said.

But next week looks cooler, again.

Normal temperatures for this time of year are around 60 degrees. Next week, high temperatures in the 40s are expected.

Climate forecasters have predicted chilly temperatures will persist in the region through mid-April.
