Charles William Gilbert, 76, whose address is listed as the Aberdeen Post Office, was charged Friday with failing to appear in court in a case in which he was charged with having an alcoholic beverage in a retail area.

Justin P. Walters, 30, of the 200 block of Farm Road, was charged Sunday with possessing a drug other than marijuana.

Jonathan David Hodges, 25, of the 3100 block of James Run Road, was charged Sunday with failing to appear in court in a case in which he was charged with driving with a suspended license.

A suspicious person was in a vacant house Saturday in the 3400 block of Carvale Road.

Five people were trying to get dogs to fight Saturday at Church Green and Post roads.

Trash was being dumped Sunday in the 2500 block of Old Robin Hood Road.

A home in the 500 block of Plume Court was vandalized Sunday.

A customer failed to pay for a taxicab ride Sunday in the 700 block of Gilbert Road.

Aberdeen police report:

Benny E. Walton, 66, of the first block of Lewis Drive, was arrested Monday on a warrant.

Brian F. Haneschlager, 32, of the 200 block of Vince Drive in Elkton, was charged March 17 with a drinking and driving offense.

Ashley Clark, 23, of the 200 block of Perrywood Court, was charged Sunday with first- and second-degree assault. During an argument with a 22-year-old male about infidelity and child care on Roosevelt Avenue, she allegedly cut the man with a small folding knife; he refused medical treatment.

Alphonso C. Hoke, 23, of the 400 block of Trimble Fields Drive in Edgewood, was arrested Sunday on drug charges.

A man was sleeping in the hallway Thursday of the Travelodge at 820 West Bel Air Ave.

A suspicious man was behind Hall's Cross Roads Elementary School Thursday in the 200 block of East Bel Air Avenue.
