Easter's on its way. We're rounding up brunch options in the area. If you want your restaurant's Easter Sunday brunch offering listed, drop us a line at the email address at the bottom of this post. Before the brunch listings, we threw in a cooking demonstration.
B&O Brasserie is offering an Easter Sunday buffet with hand-carved turkey and honey-roasted ham, vanilla-battered French toast, Maryland fried chicken and barbecue duck confit cassoulet. The cost is $30 ($12 for children 12 and under). $10 bottomless Bloody Marys and mimosas.
Fleet Street Kitchen (1012 Fleet St., 410-244-5830, fleetstreetkitchen.com) opens for brunch service for the first time on Easter Sunday,10 a.m.-5 p.m. The Harbor East restaurant is offering a three-course, $39 fixed-price menu including main course options of slow-roasted leg of lamb, steak frites with farm eggs and lobster frittata. Grille 700 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront (700 Aliceanna St., 410-895-1879) is offering an Easter brunch buffet with carved-to-order roasted leg of lamb, chef-crafted salads, Maryland crab cakes, Eastern Shore spring chicken and an "Action Station," featuring panipuri, an Indian street snack stuffed with rotisserie lamb, pulled chicken or vegetables. The cost is $49 includes mimosas, Bloody Mary and all non-alcoholic beverages.
Johnny's is taking reservations for an Easter Sunday buffet brunch from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Easter Bunny is expected to make a special appearance. The cost for the brunch is $29 ($19 for children 12 and younger), and includes house-brewed coffee, iced tea and soft drinks.
Mama's on the Halfshell is serving its regular brunch menu from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Easter Sunday.
The Milton Inn (14833 York Road, 410-7 71-4366, miltoninn.com) is serving a three-course, fixed price Easter brunch. Main course options include eggs benedict, crab meat omelet and pan-seared salmon. Oceanaire Seafood Room (801 Aliceanna St., 443-872-0000, theoceanaire.com) will open its doors at noon for a special Easter Sunday brunch featuring some of the chef's favorite seafood items.
Pazo is serving a family-friendly Easter Sunday buffet from noon to 6 p.m. Live Spanish guitar will be provided by musician Rich Barry. The cost is $44 per person ($25 for children 12 and younger).
Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore (550 Light St., 410-234-0550, sonesta.com/baltimore) is offering a classic Easter Sunday with carving, omelet and dessert stations. The hot station includes sweet potato tater tots, brioche French toast and truffle-scented cauliflower soup. See the full menu here. Roy's is offering a $29.95 fixed-price Easter Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. You can see the menu here.
Rusty Scupper is hosting an Easter brunch from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The cost is $43.95 for adults and $19.95 for children ages 10 and under. You can see the full menu here.
SoBo Cafe (6 W. Cross St., 410-752-1518, sobocafe.net) in Federal Hill is serving its regular Sunday brunch menu, along with a few specials, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Ten Ten (1010 Fleet St., 410-244-6867, bagbys1010.com) is offering a three-course, fixed-price brunch menu on Easter Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Main course options include a bacon-leek frittata, sour cream pancakes and grilled shrimp and grits. Vino Rosina is holding an Easter Egg Sunday Brunch. Each table at Vino Rosina will receive a complimentary basket of hand-dyed Easter eggs. One lucky egg will win a free bottle of wine.
Wit & Wisdom (200 International Drive, 410-576-5800, witandwisdombaltimore.com) is offering an Easter brunch buffet on March 31, with two-hour seatings between 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Chef Clay Miller will feature breakfast favorites like scrambled eggs, bacon and breakfast potatoes, and frittata with wild mushrooms & spinach. A delectable assortment of additional fare includes an artisanal cheese and olive bar, fresh fruit, farmer's market salads, a yogurt and parfait bar and a Chef's Station serving spice ham and poached salmon. A pastry display from Food & Wine’s People’s Best New Pastry Chef Chris Ford will be available as well. The cost is $45 ($30 for ages 12 and under).
