Tevon Saddler

St. Frances, senior, guard

The 6-foot-5, 205-pound versatile guard constantly served as a mismatch for opponents as he led the No. 2 Panthers (33-6) to the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference championship.

In his fourth varsity season -- two at Aberdeen before coming to St. Frances -- Saddler averaged 19 points, seven rebounds and three assists as the Panthers finished in first place in the regular season in both the MIAA A Conference and Baltimore Catholic League.

Saddler's leadership set a positive tone for the Panthers, and his ability to affect a game in many different ways was vital to the team's success. He sometimes played all five positions in one game.

"His growth from last year to this year was amazing," St. Frances coach Nick Myles said. "He became our vocal leader, and he was the guy when we needed a big basket, he would score it or dish out the game-winning assist."

Set to play at UNC-Greensboro, Saddler finished with nine double doubles this season.
