Mostly cloudy skies with highs in the mid-50s are forecast in the Baltimore area Friday, before rain chances move in for the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
Overnight lows were expected in the mid-30s. Winds are expected to be calmer than Thursday, but could pick up to 15-20 mph in the afternoon and evening.
Light rain is expected to move in early Saturday, likely continuing throughout the day. About a quarter of an inch of rain was forecast. Temperatures are expected to drop to the mid-40s overnight Friday and to not rise far from there during the day, with highs Saturday in the upper 40s.
