Woman arrested on drug charges after fleeing Laurel Police

Driver threw items out the window as police followed her vehicle

A 22-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday night after leading Laurel Police on a chase as she threw items from her vehicle's window.

Officers initially attempted to stop the vehicle, which had a suspended registration, around 8:30 p.m. in the 14100 block of Baltimore Avenue. The driver drove away and fled the police, and was seen throwing items out of the window; police recovered bags of cocaine and marijuana from the roadway. The driver eventually got out of the vehicle and ran, but police apprehended her in the 11600 block of South Laurel Drive.

Lisa Boyd was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute and other drug charges, and multiple traffic offenses.

Other arrests on March 12 include Elizabeth McCollin, 32, who was arrested and charged with second degree assault at her home in the 200 block of Fort Meade Road around 11:45 a.m. after a male victim told police he had been assaulted with a bottle.

Laurel Police arrested Daniel Crisostomo, 27, after finding marijuana in the vehicle he was driving during a traffic stop around 8 p.m. in the 200 block of Gorman Avenue.

Laurel Police received 208 calls for service March 12.
