ESPN's Kiper among HOF inductees at Calvert Hall

Calvert Hall announced that ESPN NFL draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. will be inducted into the school's Alumni Hall of Fame on March 23 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront along with T. Peter Ruane, Sir Richard H. Trainor, John T. Carey, Dr. Thomas B. Smyth and Francis X. Kelly III. The event will feature live and silent auctions, music and dancing. The master of ceremonies will be Jessica Kartalija of WJZ-TV. Indoor soccer: Four members of the Blast were honored as the Major Indoor Soccer League announced its top performers of the season. Defender Mike Lookingland (Loyola High) was named to the All-League first team, while defender Pat Healey (Towson University, Calvert Hall) was chosen to the second team. Goalkeeper Willam Vanzela and midfielder-forward Lucas Roque earned All-Rookie recognition.

College baseball: Tuesday's game between Johns Hopkins and York (Pa.) was postponed because of inclement weather. A makeup date was not announced. ... Salisbury (8-2) moved to No. 6 in the D3baseball.com Top 25.
